The Brad Hennefer Golf for Life Foundation is a non-profit organization that was inspired by the golf accomplishments of Brad Hennefer, a young man who has Down Syndrome and has been playing golf for almost his entire life. Brad works closely with a PGA Professional, Dick Smith, Jr., who has donated his time and talents over the years. Brad is now able to independently play eighteen holes of golf and participates on his high school golf team. Our goal is to facilitate a network of regional and national golf instruction programs, clinics and competitions exclusively for individuals who have Down Syndrome. We are collaborating with the National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) and the Philadelphia Section of the Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA).
The mission of our "Golf for Life" program is to provide a golf developmental process for individuals with Down Syndrome, to introduce the game of golf at a young age, provide a level of consistency, maintain involvement and participation, provide opportunities for competition regardless of skill level and physical abilities, with support for special assistance that may ultimately lead to employment in the golf industry. Our vision is for participants who have grown up in the "Golf for Life" program to obtain internships to learn job skills and ultimately be offered employment in the golf industry. We believe that one of the best ways to train for a job in this field is to grow up being involved in the sport from a very young age. Golf is a game for life!

Still swinging! Now Brad is 19 and Bobby is 23, and they want to share their golf experiences with others.
